FINISHED ATTIC BEFORE AND AFTER

A family in Briar Chapel wanted to convert their attic, mostly used for storage, into a space that had a full bathroom, a home office for her, a play space for the kids, and an epic theatre spot for everyone.

The Process

The attic conversion took some creative design because of a large air handling unit and mechanical ducting that needed to remain where they were.  The full bath was already pre-plumbed saving them money right from the start. A window bench seat was installed over a mechanical duct and a wall went up to hide the air handling unit.

The speaker niche, office nook, and kitchenette were all custom made to accommodate the uniqueness of this project. The home owners provided the theatre equipment including the 120″ framed projector screen.
